Rhodri Arrowsmith

Rhodri is the Managing Partner for IBM Consulting UK & Ireland, with responsibility for leading the business across the market and helping clients drive growth, innovation, and transformation through the application of industry expertise, technology, and AI-enabled consulting.

He brings more than 25 years of experience at IBM, with a career shaped by leadership of complex, large-scale transformation programmes across the UK public sector. Over that time, he has helped public sector organisations modernise critical services, improve operational performance, and deliver better outcomes for citizens through major business and technology transformation.

Previously, Rhodri was responsible for IBM Consulting’s UK & Ireland Public Sector business, leading consulting and delivery across the sector and supporting clients as they navigated large-scale change, digital modernisation, and service transformation. Rhodri is recognised for building strong client relationships, leading high-performing teams, and delivering transformation at scale.

Alongside his client leadership, Rhodri has also played an important role in developing IBM’s capabilities in complex systems delivery, helping build practice communities and shape offerings for large-scale transformation programmes. Before joining IBM, he trained as an aeronautical engineer with British Airways Engineering and earned a first-class master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
